This is the reason you’re struggling to write your book

Much of what people share about how to write a book focuses on goals like getting on the best-seller lists, attracting more clients or reaching a certain income level.

These are all fine goals and certainly very possible through writing a book. But, as an unbound womxn, these kind of intentions are NOT going to be enough to inspire you to powerful, sustained action.

These goals are quantitative, which means they prompt us to move up into our heads to try and figure out what to write.

What do I need to write to become a best-seller?’

‘What do my ideal clients want to hear from me?’

‘What do I need to write about to funnel more people into my programs?’

All of these questions take us outside of ourselves and away from our innate, inner wisdom.

So when we focus on these head-based goals, not only do we end up with writing that feels kinda flat and uninspired, we’re also likely to feel a sense of disconnection with our own work.

This is not juicy.

Or magical.

I know that you could focus your mind and write A book. You could sit at your desk and pull together 20-30,000 words of something.

But how do you write THE book?

The book you’re REALLY here to write.

The book that fully expresses your magic and has the power to start a movement.

That takes a different sort of goal. The energy of your intention needs to be richer, freer and infinitely more magical.

The goal with unbound writing is to write a book that transforms YOU. Before you even consider the change your readers will experience, you have to be willing to transform through the very process of writing.

Unbound writing is a heroine’s journey. Rather than following a clearly defined, step-by-step path, you have to be open to going wherever your Unbound Self guides you.

Becoming the author of your book is a process of initiation. When you commit to the goal of transforming through writing, you will be challenged.

You’ll be taken in unexpected directions.

You’ll have to spend time in the unknown.

And every aspect of your life will be open to the same level of transformation. (If you’ve read my latest book, UNBOUND, you’ll know the ‘transformation’ (aka turmoil!) that I experienced in many areas of my life whilst writing it).

This is writing as an alchemical process. Transmuting your experience into gold.

It’s not for the faint-hearted. Unbound writing is certainly not the best approach for those who prefer a tidy, step-by-step system.

But if you’re willing to look beyond the typical goals of writing a book and fully open yourself up to the adventure, the results are magical.

Because when you allow yourself to be transformed by your writing, when you open up to whatever wants to come through you at this time, the book you end up with is infused with a powerful quality.

Your readers can FEEL your transformation and this clears the way for them to experience the same.

The energy of your words becomes magnetically compelling to your audience.

And your book invokes the potential to activate real change in the world.

And if that doesn’t turn you on, unbound writing is not for you.

So, are you ready?
