Privacy Policy

Updated: July 20 2020

Okay unbound one, if you’re anything like me (and I’m pretty sure you are), then you’ve probably clicked through to this page by mistake.

But according to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the DPA (Data Protection Act) and the PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) you need to know how I am using your data. So here you go.

The simple version (for unbound beings like you):

If you sign-up to hear from me, you will generally hear from me once a week. Sometimes I may be in touch more (if I’ve got something exciting to share) and sometimes less. I’m a cyclical being, as are you, so I give myself permission to be consistently inconsistent.

You can choose to unsubscribe from my emails at any time (this option is always at the end of each message). And if what I’m sharing is no longer resonating, please do. Make some space in your inbox for new magic to emerge.

The only data of yours I keep is your name (usually just your first name) and email address. I won’t do anything underhand with your data and I don’t share it with anyone else.

Cookies:

This site may use cookies and if you’d prefer not to have that happen, you can block them on your browser or via the ‘We use cookies’ pop-up that appears when you visit this site.

Online stalking:

I have the Facebook pixel installed on this website and I may show you some Facebook Ads specifically based on pages of my sites you visit. I do this because it’s a way to show you things that I think you’ll find super-helpful in creating your own unbound life and writing the book you’re here to write.

I’m not sure if there’s a way of blocking the Facebook pixel (probably not, but you could try Google?), so the only way of avoiding being tracked in this way (and I know that sounds ominous) is to not come visit my site. (Although that would make me very sad, I completely understand).

I also use Google Analytics to monitor the traffic to my site and what pages people like to visit. (To be honest, I very rarely remember to go into my Google Analytics dashboard though).

How I use your Data:

The main thing I use your data for (i.e. your name and your email address) is to send you emails with useful content and info about my offerings.

If you’re a client, I may hold additional data relating to our work together. In all notes that I keep regarding your sessions, I do not use your full name and I keep these notes securely. Sometimes I will ask for your home address so I can send you a card or a gift. Again, I will not share this with anyone else.

Btw, if you’re a client or I’ve interviewed you or you’ve interviewed me, I don’t automatically add you to my email list. The only people on my list are those who have opted-in to get some free resources or to receive my consitently inconsistent emails over the years.

If you buy something from me, I process it using Thrivecart and Paypal.

If you are unsure about any of this, you can contact me at anytime on nicola@nicolahumber.com.

I currently use Active Campaign, Membervault, Thrivecart and Paypal in order to provide my free content and paid resources.

If you have any questions about any of this, or if you would like to be completely removed from my database, email me at nicola@nicolahumber.com and so it shall be.
